Just as Soirée is a very unique boutique consulting firm, it’s beginnings and origin are just as unique!

Two girls, one from a small town in West Tennessee and the other from a small town in Southern Mississippi, became friends as they started their venture into what would be the best years of their lives–Ole Miss! From friends in Brown Town, their freshman dorm, to Delta Gamma Sorority sisters, these best friends, Laura Leigh and Virginia, were the architects of many parties, socials, and wine and martini gatherings–and thus the result was many, many good times and memories had by all who were lucky enough to be a part of each “soirée” they were the artists behind!

This was the beginning of Soirée, yet the story continues…

The two best friends ventured away on different career paths; Laura Leigh anchoring for a national news radio network in Memphis and working in advertising, design, and events, and Virginia planning events for the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C.–Yet, parties, soirées, and martini gatherings were continued and continue to be planned by these two friends, and even more good times are still being had!

After many years of planning events and doing design work for friends and freelance consulting for clients, I decided to turn my creative, innovative, fresh style and eye for color and design into a “Fine Boutique Event Consulting Firm,” for all to have a chance and choice to experience. Just as we have been able to play special roles in so many great times had, and many magical, memorable events and occasions being enjoyed, and perfect.

I look forward to reach out and offer the talents and creative abilities of two friends who began the “Soirée” years ago, and look forward to making others’ “Soirées” just as special of a story!
